Vintage style, rustic, leather bag in tan. This practical day bag has an interior zipped fabric lined pocket and a leather pocket with a press stud fastener on the front under the flap. The flap fastens with a buckle. As each bag is unique the actual shade supplied may be slightly lighter or darker than the photograph. This bag is genuine Moroccan leather, thick and hard-wearing, and has been tanned the traditional Moroccan way, using organic tanning agents. leaving the natural markings of the hide visible and adding to the character and individuality of the bag. No chemicals have been used to treat the leather, so there may be a leather smell which fades with use. The vegetable dyes used produce a mottled finish. Leather is a porous material and will become more supple with use as it absorbs the natural oils from your hands, developing a darker sheen. Hand cut and stitched by Moroccan craftsmen in a small workshop in Fez, making each bag unique. As each bag is hand cut and hand embossed, the design supplied might vary but will be similar, please see photos for examples of designs. As is usual with hand made items, there may be imperfections in the finish, such as uneven stitching, scuffs, scars and pore marks in the leather, creases, small scratches or marks made by the leather workers tools etc which do not constitute faults. There may be some dye marks on the underside of any unlined leather.)
